You can simply pull out the upper shoulder which was assembled with a sponge and take the sponge out of it. And you can wash the sponge with detergent to get rid of the used formula from the sponge and dry it for a while using a hair dryer. And you can assemble the sponge with the upper shoulder again and put it into the lower shoulder until it is firmly assembled. If all these works are too complicating for you, you can replace the whole upper shoulder with which a new sponge is already assembled. So you don't need to take the sponge out of the shoulder and wash it for reuse.
